Hey i’m confused about body measurements….?
When i measure my self at home (i measure the correct places…. waist = narrowest point of torso, hips = widest part around buttocks), i get the measurements 31 – 25 – 35.5. But afterwards i got measured at a bridal shop, i was measured as 30.5 – 24, and 34.5 or 35 hips (one of those two).
Is it possible my Tape Measure is wrong? It’s a plastic one rather than fabric like at the bridal shop. It’s also one meant for, say, a builder measuring something. I haven’t gained weight.
I’m not fishing for compliments like people always say with these kind of question. I really just want an answer. Thank you v much!
Believe it or not, measurements can change from day to day due to weight fluctuations caused by fluid retention.
Also the woman in the shop might have measured you in slightly different places to where you meausred. And then it could be to do with the thickness of the clothes you were wearing.
I wouldn’t worry about it thought, it’s not like you measured your waist at 25 inches and then she measured it at 30 inches lol….the differences are very minor.
