How do you removal water spots from a tie?
Hi…I accidentally spilled some red punch on my tie. I tried to clean it with soap and water…when the tie dried, it now had water spots…I tried several times, but the water spots remain.
I’m not sure what the tie material is, but it’s Perry Ellis Portfolio…It was about $20, so that pretty much rules out Silk.

If a little water left spots then I would soak the entire tie in water to equal things out. After washing the entire tie in soap and water I would throw it in the dryer for a few minutes that way it will dry equally. After doing this your tie should look brand new. You may need to iron it. If You Need to lay in out flat on an ironing board and put a wash cloth that has a Little Bit of vinegar on it and use a low setting on the iron.
